Cranberry Swirls Hoops

I have so much fun making these hoops. Hoops are adorned with swirls and 3mm Swarovski crystal beads to give more sparkle to my little cranberry delights. Now, available on our website.

Want to learn how to make these swirls, please check out my tutorial on Smokey Topaz Swirls Pendant.

Bezel cabochon

If you have been following me on Facebook updates, I discovered a new way to bezel!! These are still very much in development stages, I need to work on the finishing and the bail.

Raspberry Beaded Choker - A revisit

After almost 2 years since I moved from beading to wire works, I set aside my wire and did beading for a change yesterday.

Here is the result:

As most renowned wire jewelry artists I know, they too started with beading and stringing before venturing into wire works. This little revisit really teaches me how to be patient and accurate in my work. I have applied R.A.W. (right angel weave) and used 3 yards of fire line to compose this raspberry choker. I have used Miyuki seed beads and grey peacock dyed fresh water pearls.

Inseparable Bracelet

Bracelet is weaved and adorned with dozens of ivory fresh water pearls (5mm).

Technique used in Inseparable Wide Hoops. Check out my tutorial on Inseparable Wide Hoops if you are interested to learn this new weaving technique to incorporate beads.

Braided Rivoli Pendant

I have used 26-gauge wire for braiding and to frame a large 12mm Clear AB tone Rivoli Swarovski Crystal. Last picture shows the back of my braided pendant. =)

Want to learn how to do simple yet elegant braiding used in this design? Please check out "Tutorial"on Braided Pearl Bracelet".

Braided Pearls Bracelet

This is my first attempt trying to do braiding with wire & pearls.

What surprises me most is the fact that it took me less than 40 minutes to complete this piece and I cant wait to do more!! LOL! =D Stay Tuned for a more refined version with more consistent braiding and finishing.

Traditional Indian Bangle

Bangle is heavily influenced by the rich culture of the Malaysian Indians.

Bangle is adorned with new weaving technique.

You can wear a single bangle, two or more!

Materials used: Swarovski crystals & non-tarnished silver plated wires.

Custom order for this design with other colours to match your "saree" or any other outfits, please email me (jpbeads@gmail.com) with your requirements.

Enjoy the Daylight

Anxious but still in the process of feeding the inventory of my website. Meanwhile, I am sharing bits by bits of some pictures which I have taken in natural lights. Never been able to do in the past... reasons, I have not have the chance or privilege to see the daylight with my day job. Off to work in the early morning and only reach home late at night when it is already dark and gloomy.

I have not use flash or any unnatural lighting effects on these pictures. I love how it turns out and there are tonnes of pictures which I wanted to retake given the time... I aim to launch my new website with a handful of new pieces in sterling and some vintage inspired pieces. Stay tune...

I did it!!!

My heart feels so much lighter this every moment.... An old chapter is coming to a closure and a brand new chapter and season will commence really soon... I trust in HIM that this new chapter will be the best ever yet to happen and I am preparing my heart to face it... When you are pushed to decide and HE is all you have and you learn to trust in HIM and believe HE has planned it all out for you and it will be ok.... I will not hold back and I am ready to do just this one thing that will make a difference.... I did it!!! I am not explicit for a reason but you will soon discover what I mean in due course.....

Am off to holiday!~ Stay tune for mega changes....

xoxo

Woven Bead Caps & Beads

These gorgeous gemstones are adorned with pretty handcrafted bead caps. Perfect for pendants, earrings and even a charm for bracelet! =)

Woo-hooo I bought a Drill

I always wanted to get a drill but I never gotten around doing that... Why? The price is the first turn off!! Getting a good drill involves spending a huge amount of money. My other problems:
What kinda specs do I need?
What is the different between a drill n driver??
Arrgh... I am also clueless how it really works?

Tool like this can be dangerous if you don't know how to handle it properly!!

However, having seen good testimonials from some of my fellow wire artists and spending good amount of time reading about it, I decided to get one but I was still unwilling to spend $$$ for it.

Yesterday, while during grocery shopping with my mom @ Tesco Hypermarket, I saw THIS DRILL! Cordless Black and Decker HM9600 (for the benefit of others who are looking for a drill at an unbelievable bargain) for only RM99.90!!! (Click on first picture to enlarge). I jump at the offer and bought it straight away...

I tested it and it works fine for coiling wire! Now, I can work faster, with precision and consistency!! I cant wait to work on new projects which involve coiling or twisting wire with this NEW DRILL!!

Remember to charge it for at least 6 hours and read the instructions carefully before you start using it!

DISCLAIMER AND CAUTION: If you have no idea what to use this drill for, DON'T GET IT!!! Be absolutely clear how it works and think it through whether you really need this tool before purchasing one!

If you are beginner/ intermediate level in your wire works journey but is very keen to get it but not sure how it works, feel free to email me at jpbeads@gmail.com with your questions and to satisfy your curiosity before committing your purchase.

Oh, do check out my pop up chat box at the bottom right of your browser, leave me message if I am "OFFLINE" and chat with me directly when I am "ONLINE".

Fleur Pendant

Just sharing what I did over the weekend... Yes, this resembles flower but also resembles the lights used for deepavali... =P

Peacock's tail

Made this ring over the weekend while playing with my wire... It turns out to be a lovely whimsical peacock's tail ring...

I got a little carried away... second try, I added some beads. Here is how it looks like with some Swarovski crystals... adorable right?

Monday again and I am back to my busy busy schedule... =( Scheduled posts will be up during the course of the week. =D

Clayties

Oh yes, I have been playing with polymer clay again... Dreamy blue bouquet of roses with pearl effects.... Guess what? There are more to come... watch this space for more updates!

Flower Infinte Heart RIng

Another flower ring. I have made 6 coiled and swirls petals for this flower ring...

The band is weaved using infinte knot with slight modification to the knot I have introduced recently. Can you see the hearts? =D May be I should incorporate 2 rows of infinite hearts for a thicker and broader shank? What do you think?

New Knot - Infinite Hearts

If you have been following me on twitter (http://www.twitter.com/jpbeads) or facebook (http://www.facebook.com/jpbeads), here it is the very initial pictures of my new knot - Infinite Hearts! Still at the stage of perfecting this knot... will share more pictures soon! Thank you for viewing and have a great weekend!

Swirls turn Hoops

Discovered how to merge the swirls weaving technique together and "tah-dah" lovely and intricate bold hoops... These sparkle green hoops are magical and very elvish.... I have taken these pictures almost immediately after I have made them at 1.20 am in the morning... I was too excited to show you what little treasures I have made based on my upcoming tutorial instalment...

These earrings will be up for sale on my etsy soon... Will take more pictures in the day light before listing these.

Same technique used in Round and Round Again, Supernova, Smokey Topaz Swirls, Fire Opal Swirls and Eva Calla Lily Bouquet (check them out).

Cant wait for tomorrow... craft shopping with Murni... Have a nice weekend folks! =D
